Story By: PHIL ALLAWAY / LEBANON VALLEY SPEEDWAY – WEST LEBANON, NY – While Saturday dawned with sunny skies, the weather forecast was not really the best.
At the time, rain was forecast to move in from the west around 9 p.m. ET, which would have likely caused features to get postponed.
However, the forecast changed Saturday when an additional cluster of moisture formed off the coast and moved northward. With that moisture moving in before racing was scheduled to start, plus the additional front from the west, the decision was made to cancel the card for Saturday, May 20.
Next weekend, Lebanon Valley Speedway will be back in action with Military Appreciation Night sponsored by Madsen Overhead Doors of Spencertown, N.Y. All of the classes will be in action starting at 6 p.m. ET. Hope to see you there.
