Dietrich Finds Top 5’s In Esh Tribute & Weikert Finale At; Four Races In Four Days On Tap

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / DANNY DIETRICH RACING – GETTYSBURG, PA – Danny Dietrich is no stranger to success with “America’s Series,” and the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, native proved that point yet again during the recent weekend, finding the top-ten three times in the four-race All Star Circuit of Champions swing through the heart of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, highlighting the four-day slate with a runner-up performance in Williams Grove Speedway’s Doug Esh Tribute on Friday, May 26, commencing his eventual podium result from the inside of row six.

Dietrich, driver of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, #1 Cochran Expressway, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Self Made Racing, No. 48 sprint car, would go on to finish fourth in Port Royal Speedway’s $29,000-to-win Bob Weikert Memorial finale two nights later on Sunday, May 28. The former Weikert champion did his best to contend for another title, battling in a podium spot for much of the first half of the 29-lapper.

The All Star weekend commenced with Dietrich finishing tenth at Bridgeport Motorsports Park in Swedesboro, New Jersey, on Thursday, May 25.

“We were able to put up some big numbers during our weekend with the All Star Circuit of Champions, but winning at least one, if not two races, was the goal, especially the Bob Weikert Memorial,” Dietrich mentioned. “We have another big weekend ahead, so we’ll do what we can to build on this momentum and get that second victory of the year.”

Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with a tripleheader in the Keystone State, set to invade BAPS Motor Speedway on Thursday, June 1, Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 2, and Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, June 3. In addition, Dietrich, continuing his stretch with car owner, Randy Gass, will invade Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, on Wednesday, May 31; the High Limit Sprint Car Series event will award $23,023-to-win.
