Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / GREG WILSON RACING – BENTON RIDGE, OH – Greg Wilson’s decision to join the All Star Circuit of Champions in their two-day campaign through New York and Ohio certainly paid off, as the Benton Ridge, Ohio, native would go on to cap his efforts with a top-ten result Saturday night at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, ending the 15th Annual Lou Blaney Memorial tenth in the running order after starting in the exact same position.

Wilson, a former multi-time All Star champion and driver of his own Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics Warehousing and Transportation, SandRidge Customs, Banshee Graphics, CJMM, No. W20 sprint car, put together a sound performance during the entire Lou Blaney Memorial program, kicking things off with the fourth-fastest time during qualifying time trials, racing on to finish second during his respective heat race. Wilson’s eventual top-ten would ultimately bump his season’s total to eight.

The night before at Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, New York, Wilson finished 13th, maintaining a consistent effort after starting 12th on the $15,000-to-win grid.

“We always enjoy racing with the All Stars. They always make us feel right at home and I’m sure we’ll see them on several more occasions this season,” Wilson said. “Hats off to this team. Everyone plays a big role and I’m proud of what we accomplished. We have a monster week ahead and we’re excited to be a part of the biggest week of the year.”
