Story By: TOM COUGHLIN / DIRT MODIFIED NOSTALGIA TOUR – PLATTSBURGH, NY – Aaron Pugh from Kingston, On made his first ever visit to Airborne Speedway a successful one with a convincing victory here this past Saturday evening.
Pugh would start second on the starting grid next to defending Champion and heat race winner Joe August out of Brewerton, NY. August would lead the first several laps until an early restart would see Pugh use the top side to get around August with St. Catherines, PQ hot shoe Pat McGrail using the bottom of the speedway to get by August a few laps later.
Pugh would cruise to victory with McGrail and August completing the podium
The DMNT returns to action Friday June 16th and Saturday June 17th at Skyline and Thunder Mountain respectively.
