Zearfoss Earns Hard Charger Award In Impressive 81 Speedway Display; US 36 & Arrowhead Next

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing put on a show Saturday night at 81 Speedway in Wichita, Kansas, not only solidifying the evening’s KSE Hard Charger Award for advancing the most feature positions, but climbing 14 positions to do so, an act that commenced from row 11.

An impressive act, nonetheless, the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native actually did it twice, climbing his way to a top ten battle before being caught up in an incident just before halfway. Without saying, Zearfoss returned, eventually concluding the 30-lapper in the eighth position.

Zearfoss’ top-ten outcome was his second of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series season, earning his first at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas, on Saturday, March 16.

“That’s a great way to roll into April,” Zearfoss, ace of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, EnTrust IT Solutions, Berkebile Oil Company, No. 3Z sprint car, stated. “Hats off to this team for never giving up. Starting that far back is never an easy task, especially with a loaded field like the World of Outlaws. This is a great momentum shift before our busy April slate gets going.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2024 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a Missouri and Oklahoma doubleheader, first visiting US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri, on Friday, April 5, followed by a stop at Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord, Oklahoma, on Saturday, April 6. Saturday’s Jason Johnson Classic will award a $20,000 top prize.
