Super Lates To Be In Action At Knox Raceway Sunday; 410 Sprint Cars Also In Action

Story By: PAM BAKER / KNOX RACEWAY – KNOX, PA – Knox Raceway will be the host to the Super Late Models on Sunday night, June 25th with a $2,000 to win 30-lap event presented by Nick Corcetti Contracting.

In addition, JHC Enterprise has put up an additional $200 to the top finishing Semi Late Model in the field.

Along with the Super Late Models the 410 Sprints will be back in action at the speedway and will be racing for $2,500 to win. Also on the program card will be the 270cc Micro Sprints and the 4-Cylinder Mini Stocks which will be going under SCDRA rules. Gates open at 2pm with races starting at 5pm. General admission is $20 with pit passes going for $30.

There have been a couple of events added to the Knox Raceway schedule for 2023. For all car enthusiasts a “Fall into Autumn” Car Cruise-In will take place on Saturday, September 9th and will feature Cars, Pickup Trucks, Motorcycles and Semi Trucks. Show times will be 11am till 4pm. There will be food for purchase, restrooms available and plenty of parking for this event.

Another event that has been added will take place either the end of October or the first of November and will find 24-hour Enduro Race that will pay $5000 to win with a $400 registration fee. MINIMUM 3 drivers per team! RACE WILL BE END OF YEAR AROUND OCTOBER-NOVEMBER. Full details and final date will be released by mid-July! Four-, six- and eight-cylinder vehicles can compete with stock engines and stock tires. NO FULL SIZE TRUCKS or SUVS. NO RACECARS. Mini Vans and small truck/small suvs permitted. MANDATORY roll cage, DOT approved helmet, fire retardant jacket, and gloves. Windshield removal is optional but if removed a protective screen must be in place.
