Kent Robinson Bests Brownstown Speedway $2,500-To-Win Affair

Story By: BEN SHELTON / KENT ROBINSON RACING – BLOOMINGTON, IN – Kent Robinson piloted his Lucid Services Group No. 7R JB’s Salvage / Longhorn by Wells / Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model to the $5,000 victory at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway on Saturday night.

“We’ve had speed early in the year, despite our limited starts. We put ourselves in a good position on Saturday night at Brownstown (Speedway) and got the win,” Robinson said. “The track was in great shape, and it was awesome to be there with a lot of family and friends. Thanks as always to everyone who lends a helping hand to keep us going in circles.”

Kent Robinson invaded Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway on Saturday evening with his JB’s Salvage No. 7R Late Model for the regular night of racing.

With a heat race victory placing him on the front row for the feature, Robinson lost the top spot to David Webb early as the duo battled lapped-traffic but the Bloomington, Ind., native stated within striking distance as the laps winded down.

Regaining the lead from Webb in the final circuits, Kent soared to his first win of the 2023 season, which came ahead of Webb, Jared Bailey, Chad Stapleton, and Tyler Collins. He earned a $2,500 payday for his performance
