Weather Postpones CRSA Sprints Date At Thunder Mountain Speedway To Sunday, July 23rd

Story By: STEVEN OVENS / CRSA – SODUS, NY – Racing action at Thunder Mountain Speedway for the A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprints powered by Super Gen Products will have to wait for Sunday July 23. Threatening forecasts for the entire day Sunday have forced speedway officials to postpone.

After an electric start to a four races in eight days stretch on Friday at Penn Can Speedway, the series will sit idle on Sunday. Officials at Land of Legends Raceway, the series next scheduled stop on Monday July 3, are also evaluating their chances of racing after taking on no less than five inches of rain in a 90-minute time period on Saturday afternoon.

Rain has been an underlying story for half of the planned events going into Independence Day Weekend. CRSA unfortunately maintains that batting average of .500.
