Lebanon Valley Speedway Cancelled For July 29th Due To Weather

Story By: PHIL ALLAWAY / LEBANON VALLEY SPEEDWAY – WEST LEBANON, NY – The month of July has been a very wet month. Albany has set an all-time precipitation record for July with over 10 inches of rain.

Saturday dawned sunny, but heavy rains and the threat of thunderstorms quickly moved into the picture. Just before 1 p.m. ET, the track officially cancelled racing activity for July 29th due to this incoming precipitation, specifically the chance of severe weather.

As a result, regular racing will be off until Aug. 12. Next weekend is the annual visit of the Monsters and the Megas. They will take center stage next Friday and Saturday. Have a great week.
