Generally, the NY6A Sprints put on a spectacular show for the fans in attendance, racing around Woodhull at break-neck speeds.

When the main gates open at 4:30 pm, the New York State Stock Car Association will conduct a brief Hall of Fame introduction for several of the greats that competed at Woodhull over the past decades.

Herbie Layfield, Don Lawson, Herbie Wright and Steve Hartman Sr. will all go into the NYSSCA Hall of Fame with the Morseman Family also receiving special recognition for their years of dedication to racing in the Southern Tier Region of Upstate New York.

The NYSSCA holds their Annual Awards Banquet during the off season in the greater Albany, NY region. However, members of the NYSSCA felt it best to introduce the newest Hall of Fame Members during their night of sponsorship at Woodhull rather than having all the inductees travel long distances during the winter months.

All fans and drivers are encouraged to attend this prestigious event which will be conducted at the rear of the grandstand seating area by the Siemens/Pepsi Victory Lane and the Seeley Family Junior Fan Booth.

Woodhull Raceway Public Relations Director, Kenny Shupp Jr. has been summoned to emcee this affair which is anticipated to last approximately one hour.
