Sunday’s Rush Late MOdel Event At Eriez Speedway Rescheduled For August 27th

Story By: MIKE LEONE / RUSH RACING SERIES – PULASKI, PA – After a successful “Jook George Steel City Classic” presented by All Interior Painting on Saturday night at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway for the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Dirt Late Model Flynn’s Tire Touring Series, Mother Nature had other plans on Sunday at Eriez Speedway washing out “Manufacturers Night” presented by MSD Performance.

The $3,000 to-win annual event, which features more than $27,000 of valuable product giveaways, has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 27 at Eriez. The night will also include the RUSH Stock Car “Manufacturers Night”.

On Tuesday night (August 8), Woodhull Raceway will host the “Darwin Davis Memorial” presented by Davis Electric & Lighting and Empire Crushing. The $4,000 to-win Platinum event has a rain date of Wednesday. This will be the first Tour race at the New York Southern Tier bullring since 2014 when Wayne Robertson made a winning debut to win $1,500. Pits open at 3:30 p.m. with warmups at 6 followed by qualifying for the Late Models and heat race action.
