Brian Brown Finds Top-5 Result In Knoxville’s Season Championship; Tentative Plan Includes Trip To Posse Country

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRIAN BROWN RACING – GRAIN VALLEY, MO – Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing capped their 2023 Knoxville Raceway season with another check in the top-five column, this time finishing fifth after starting eighth in the $6,000-to-win Season Championship.

For Brown, success at the Sprint Car Capital of the World is nothing short of expected, attaining five victories at the Marion County Fairgrounds half-mile this season, not including his 360 Knoxville Nationals triumph in early August.

Although capping the evening fifth, Brown, ace of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, HAWK Hunting, Ditzfeld Transfer, No. 21 sprint car, flirted with fourth the entire distance, actually earning the position on a few occasions before slipping back to fifth in the closing circuits; Chase Randall got by Brown with less than five to go.

“Blackjack” ended his Knoxville Raceway campaign second in the final championship standings, earning the aforementioned five A-Main victories in 11 point-earning feature attempts.

“A solid night for our team. To cap the Knoxville season with a top five is pretty special. Already looking ahead to next year,” Brian Brown stated. “The plan now is to venture east. Tentatively, we’ll continue our year back in Posse Country.”
