In addition, Bayston, ace of the CJB Motorsports, TrueTimber Camo, Rothco, JRC Transportation, Nyce Crete and Landis, Ecynbro Trucking, C&S Lawn and Landscape, Kistler Engines, No. 5 sprint car, finished fifth in a Skagit Nationals preliminary program, doing so to open the weekend on Thursday, August 31. Other Labor Day weekend results for Spencer Bayston and CJB Motorsports include a 16th-place score in night two of the Skagit Nationals on Friday, September 1, followed by a 14th-place score at Grays Harbor Raceway on Monday, September 4.

“It’s been a somewhat challenging West Coast swing so far, but I’m confident we’ll get our program where it needs to be,” Spencer Bayston said. “We’re heading into the homestretch of our season, so it’s important to us to capitalize. I have a great team, and it’s their hard work and dedication that I admire. We’ll turn our focus to Silver Dollar Speedway and work to leave Chico with a $25,000 payday.”

Spencer Bayston and CJB Motorsports will continue their 2023 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with an invasion of California, as Chico’s Silver Dollar Speedway will host the 69th Gold Cup Race of Champions. The three-night (September 7-9) event features split-field prelims on Thursday and Friday before concluding with Saturday’s $25,000-to-win finale.
