Story By: STEVEN PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – The rain-plagued season continued Thursday night for the SANY New York/Burris Racing go-kart program at the Ransomville Speedway, as due to the heavy rain that fell throughout the day and more that is anticipated for the evening, the call was made to cancel the September 7 final points night.
As a result of the rain out, the points are now final, with Colin Spatorico picking up the Mike Barry Motors Sr Heavy track championship. Aidan Seefeldt is the Fisher’s Auto Repair Sr Lites champion. Jacob Schulz is the Frontier Auto Wrecking Junior 3 divisional champion. Thomas Ruggiero is the SJE Shocks Junior 2 champion. Laina Stewart is the Slack Karts Junior 1 champion.
The Little R will return to action on Saturday, September 9 with the running of the Paul Moden Memorial. Pit gates open at 9am, with racing to get underway at 11am. As always, FREE grandstand admission
