Fifth Monadnock Speedway Win Comes At Perfect Time For Justin Bonsignore

Story By: KYLE SOUZA / JUSTIN BONSIGNORE MOTORSPORTS – WINCHESTER, NH – Justin Bonsignore picked the perfect time to add another Monadnock Speedway victory to his credit on Saturday night.

Bonsignore started from the Mayhew Tools pole position after posting the fastest lap in qualifying, then dominated the Winchester Fair 150 – leading all of the laps – and capturing his 39th career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour win.

The victory was the fifth on the high-banks of Monadnock for Bonsignore in 11 starts and his third in the last four races there. He sits fourth on the all-time series wins list, just three wins away from Ted Christopher for third all-time. Bonsignore entered Saturday’s event trailing Ron Silk by nearly 20 points in the championship battle, but left behind Silk by just one after Silk finished 12th.

“We needed this after last week at Oswego,” Bonsignore, who failed to finish the Oswego event due to a wreck, said. “We’re back in the championship battle. It looks like Ron Silk had a bad night. You just can’t give up in these things – there are four more races to go – it’s going to be a dog fight.”

Justin Bonsignore and the Kenneth Massa Motorsports team will be back on track on Saturday, September 16 at Riverhead Raceway for the second annual running of the Ed Partridge 256. The live pit stops in the infield of the bullring will return for 2023.
