Story By: ASHLEY MCCUBBIN / SUNSET SPEEDWAY – INNISFIL, ONT – Pacing all 20 laps, Dave Bradley scored the victory in Saturday’s Outlaw Midgets presented by Canadian Tire Innisfil feature at Sunset Speedway.
Larry Lawson won the first heat ahead of Mikey Homewood, Rob McCall, Jason Metcalfe, Fred Homewood, and Kayla Semple, while Derek Millman failed to finish.
Dave Bradley was victorious in the second qualifier in front of Richard Woodland, Mike Bradley, Rob Harrison, Glenn Raymond, and Jeremy Gerrard, while Dave Inglis, and Jason Semple failed to finish.
Larry Lawson went for the daily double, followed by McCall, Mikey Homewood, Millman, Kayla Semple, Metcalfe, and Fred Homewood.
Dave Bradley swept his qualifiers as well ahead of Mike Bradley, Woodland, Harrison, Raymond, Inglis, and Gerrard, while Jason Semple failed to finish.
When it came time for the main event, Dave Bradley turned his front row starting spot into a dominating performance by pacing all the laps en route to winning. The eyes were on the battle for the second, which went right down to the wire as Larry Lawson edged out Mike Bradley at the line for the position.
Rob Harrison and Fred Homewood rounded out the top-five in front of Richard Woodland, Rob McCall, Derek Millman, Jason Metcalfe, and Glenn Raymond. Kayla Semple stayed out of trouble for an 11th in front of Jason Semple and Dave Inglis, while Jeremy Gerrard and Mikey Homewood failed to finish.
The Outlaw Midgets are back in action for their next event at Flamboro Speedway on October 1, 2023.
