Story By: ASHLEY MCCUBBIN / OSCAAR – PETERBOROUGH, ONT – Whether it was Friday night or Saturday afternoon, the action was close amongst the stars of the Just Foam It OSCAAR Modifieds as they battled for the final checkered flags of the 2023 season at Peterborough Speedway’s Autumn Colours Classic.
Jason Keen out-battled Tyler Liscum to win the first JRS Auctions heat ahead of Chad Strawn, AJ Emms, Rick Spencer-Walt, Wally Wilson, and Dave Mathers.
Bryan Batty won the second qualifier in front of Shawn Chenoweth, TJ Edwards, Dale Reinhart, Ryan Dick, Alvin McNicol, and Brandon Feeney.
TJ Edwards made the last lap pass to win the third heat, followed by Emms, Strawn, Wilson, Dick, Batty, and Keen.
Shawn Chenoweth led flag-to-flag in the final qualifier ahead of Spencer-Walt, Reinhart, Rick Warnes, McNicol, Liscum, Mathers, and Tyler Bouillon.
Unfortunately, the Autumn Colours Classic feature was not run due to rain all-day both Sunday and Monday this past weekend. Officials have made the decision to run the features this Saturday, October 14.
