“We first met Velocita owner Brad Smith around 13 years ago down south,” explained Emig. “He was actually driving a Crate Late Model at Ocala Speedway in Florida and we got to know him personally through the years at various trade shows. Back in 2014, Velocita started by awarding a suit to a RUSH Late Model and Sportsman Modified racer at our Manufacturers Nights. As RUSH grew to additional divisions, Brad stepped up and awarded additional suits, driving shoes and gloves, certificates and more.
