Lancaster Motorplex Secures Street Stock Divisional Sponsor For 2024 Racing Season

Story By: STEVEN PETTY / LANCASTER MOTORPLEX – LANCASTER, NY – Monroe Extinguishers has signed on as the divisional sponsor for the Street Stock division at Lancaster Motorplex.

Their branding will be seen and heard every race night with their logos being present on all divisional race cars and will be heard with PA announcements throughout the night. Their sponsorship comes with a committed point fund for the Street Stock division at the historic Lancaster oval.

“We felt the Street Stock class was a great fit for our target demographic, very capable, hardworking, blue collar, and it is a really fun and competitive class,” comments Anthony Salemme, CEO/partner of Monroe Extinguisher. “We love partnering with Lancaster, great people, great exposure, great value for our investment, and being there on race nights is a lot of fun,” Salemme explained.

Street Stock drivers MUST be registered and have the divisional sponsor decal on the racecar to be eligible for the point fund. The decals will be roof stickers like in years past.

In 2023, 47 different drivers competed, with an average of 26 racing at each event, the most for the division at any weekly or region series event. Mark Hoch from West Seneca, NY won his second straight track championship over Jacob Gustafson and Nik Welshans.

2024 will see the Monroe Extinguisher Street Stocks racing at all 13 scheduled events.
