Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / CHRIS ANDREWS RACING – SANDUSKY, OH – It’s been a tough start to the season for Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing, and despite the frustration stemming from back-to-back negative outcomes at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway, the Sandusky, Ohio, native is ready to stir in some luck from a third try, aiming at an Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) pair on April 26-27.
Andrews, a former Attica track champion, will attempt to use the pair as a new and improved start to the season, steadily preparing for an upcoming World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series invasion that will take over Attica on Friday, May 17, and Fremont on Monday, May 27.
“It’s been tough, that’s for sure. I guess it’s better to get all of this out of the way early,” Andrews, ace of the Ohio Truck Sales, OTS Truck Centers, Fleet Capital, Cintas, Kenworth of Cleveland, No. 15C sprint car, said. “Just can’t say enough about my team. It’s hard to stay motivated when stuff like this happens, but I’m fortunate to be surrounded by a lot of great people. All we can do is keep moving forward.”
Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with a routine weekend in the Buckeye State, set to visit Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway for an AFCS doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27.
