Greg Wilson Aims At Attica / Fremont Championship Series Pair At Attica & Fremont

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / GREG WILSON RACING – BENTON RIDGE, OH – After a competitive weekend out on the road with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series that led Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing to Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky, and Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the Benton Ridge, Ohio, native is ready to turn his focus back to northwest Ohio, setting aim on an AFCS pair at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on April 26-27.

Wilson, ace of his own Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics Warehousing & Transportation, DNC Hydraulics, No. W20 sprint car, will roll into the AFCS doubleheader with momentum and confidence, having already scored a podium outcome in Attica Raceway Park’s Spring Nationals earlier in the season.

Wilson’s Spring Nationals effort was nearly flawless from start to finish, kicking things off with the eighth-fastest qualifying time of 42 entries, racing on to finish second in his respective heat race and fourth in his respective dash. Wilson’s dash outcome secured his row four starting position.

“Last weekend was a little bit frustrating considering our results, but I guess we can’t be that upset considering we have less than five starts on the year,” Wilson, who finished 19th at Paducah with the Greatest Show On Dirt, explained. “We’re going to hit the reset button this week and aim to continue our season with starts at Attica and Fremont. Our Spring Nationals effort was great from start to finish and the goal is to continue that momentum this weekend.”
