Story By: KENNY SHUPP / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – Mothers who attend the Outlaw Speedway on Friday, May 10 will be honored as the popular Yates County speed plant hosts their second point paying show of the season.
“Every year I like to recognize all the women in our lives including all those special Moms who support their husbands, sons, daughters and grandkids that race. Women are a huge part of racing and its imperative that we remember them on this special night.” That according to Outlaw Speedway owner, Tyler Siri.
The Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds will head up the card as they will be supported by the Sunrise Insulation/Knapp and Schlappi Lumber American Racer Tire Sportsman Class. The Swarthout Recycling Street Stocks, The Winner’s Circle Deli Mini Stocks and the NAPA Hobby Stock Classes round out the night of action.
The Outlaw Speedway Saloon is open, each race event in the pit area and offers a top deck observation viewing area providing a breath-taking view of the Fast 4/10 of a mile clay oval and area surroundings.
Main grandstand seating spectators of the legal age can enjoy iced cold beer at the Turn 4 Tavern.
Fans can also enjoy the Outlaw Speedway Infield Experience allowing a ground level view of all the race action and lets not forget that camping is always free at the speedway.
Modified and Sportsman teams are reminded that any compound American Racer Tire can be run the first three weeks of racing in May. After that the mandatory 44/48 minimum goes into effect for the remainder of 2024.
