Outlaw Speedway Takes A Week Off Prior To Final Double-Point Championship Night

Story By: KENNY SHUPP / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – At the beginning of the 2023 season, Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri indicated that he was going to give all his racers, fans and employees three Friday nights off during the season.

“Everyone needs a break during this extremely busy time of the year. For a lot of these teams, money starts getting very tight plus my employees as well as the fans that support this place need a break to recharge prior to the stretch run. We will take our final Night Off on Friday, August 25 and get ready for the final point show of the season on September 1.” That according to Siri.

The second half of the 2023 season at Outlaw Speedway has produced some of the most exciting racing seen at the popular Yates County speedway in years with a smooth racing surface that allows drivers multiple grooves to choose from and fans have witnessed a variety of different drivers visiting the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Victory Lane during that time.

When racing resumes at Outlaw on Friday, September 1, 2023 it will undoubtedly be the most intense night of the season as Double Points await all the regular weekly classes of action and in most cases the “23” point battles will be decided as no one driver is a run-away in their respective class of competition except for Dr. Hanna Guererri who has already clinched the Swarthout Recycling Rookie Sportsman Title. Brian Grant is dangerously close to sealing the deal in the Winners Circle Deli 4 Cylinder Mini Stock Division.

“With giving the teams that support this place a night off prior to the season point championships it allows them an added week to prepare. I pay good money in all the weekly classes to win their respective class titles, probably better than most, stated Siri. The Modified Title alone pays the high point man, $10,000.”

The September 1, 2023 show helps roll in the final real holiday weekend of summer as everyone will celebrate the Labor Day Weekend.

Campers are welcome to come and spend the weekend at the facility as parking your rig is always free along with complementary rides on Outlaw Crusher, the tracks Official Monster Truck.
