Story By: KENNY SHUPP / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – The Woodhull Raceway will once again welcome Superior Propane to the track to sponsor the May 11, 2024 event.
According to fifth year Woodhull Raceway owners, Terry and Niki Brewer, “Superior Propane has been a loyal marketing partner with this track for decades and we are pleased to announce that Superior will host two events in 2024 on May 11 and then again on September 7. They are a great partner and the company has very deep ties to the greater Woodhull area of Upstate New York offering top grade propane for every application.”
After a devastating flood that ravaged the greater Woodhull Region in August of 2021, many of the local businesses have rebounded including Superior Propane which recently moved into their all- new facility at the intersection of St. Rt. 417 and Cr. 129 in Woodhull.
On the card of events for the May 11, 2024 event the Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s Quad C will run a special King of the Ring one on one single elimination event for the drivers in attendance.
In addition to the Quad C King of the Ring it will be a full blown Super 7 Show featuring the Insinger Performance Modifieds, the Hometown Excavation 602 Crate Sportsman, the Empire Crushing LLC RUSH Crate Late Models and the Southern Tier Customs Street Stocks.
Also, in action will be the Sawyer’s RV and Camper Service and Repair Hobby Stocks as well as the Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s Youth Warriors and the Wicked Tee’s Quad C which features a mix of both front and rear wheel driven 4 Cylinder Mini Stocks.
Pit gates for the May 11 show open at 3:30 pm with Main Grandstand Seating to follow at 4:30 PM.
The Woodhull Raceway offers an Early Bird Special offering a buck off the Adult General Admission ticket price for the first hour the main gates are open.
In addition, discounts are provided for Senior Citizens (+62) and kids (8-12) when accompanied by a paid adult.
For the youth movement in racing, The Woodhull Raceway provides a weekly Junior Fan Sign-up Booth offering kids a chance to meet up with their favorite driver or drop the green flag on a feature event.
