Woodhull Raceway Annual Awards Banquet Set For Saturday, September 30th

Story By: KENNY SHUPP / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – The Woodhull Raceway facility, County Route 102 in Woodhull, NY will once again be the 2023 setting for the Annual Awards Banquet.

“We have been hosting the awards ceremony right at the track ever since we purchased the facility, stated Woodhull Raceway owners, Terry and Niki Brewer. We like to distribute the trophies and point fund money sooner than later and 2023 will be no exception as we will have our banquet once again right here at the track on Saturday, September 30.”

As in years past, Tent A Tent of Mansfield, Pa. will provide the enclosed tent, tables and chairs for the function and Woodhull Raceway weekly announcer, Joe Cook will emcee the affair.

The top ten in the final point standings will all receive point fund money and hardware, however according to Woodhull Raceway rules any competitor must compete in no less than 50% of the point paying events to be eligible for point fund money and awards.

The Wicked Tee’s Warriors will receive trophies only as the youngsters that raced in the weekly division cannot accept cash in protecting their amateur status.

For those wishing to attend the banquet on Sept. 30, 2023 keep a watchful eye on the tracks Facebook for more information including times for cocktail hour, meal as well as awards presentation.

Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Once again, a scrumptious buffet style meal will be professionally catered by the Nikkl Brew Restaurant in downtown Canisteo, NY.

In addition to Track Champions as well as other top point finishers, other awards will be presented including Rookie of the Year Awards where applicable along with a slew of other presentations including Media, Sportsmanship, Dedication to Motorsports and others.

All recipients are required to be present to accept their awards in appropriate attire. Please, DO NOT send someone in your place to accept awards and money.

The Woodhull Raceway would like to welcome everyone to attend the banquet. Be it fans, drivers, crew members, car owners, employees and marketing partners, all are welcome to come and enjoy an afternoon of comradery and celebration of all the tracks top point finishers for the 2023 season.

Work is already underway regarding the 2024 season schedule of events.
