Story By: KENNY SHUPP / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – The Insinger Performance sponsored Modified Division at the Woodhull Raceway will have their first high dollar feature event of the upcoming 2024 race season on Saturday, April 27 paying the winner a nifty $2,500.00 to claim the thirty-lap feature.
2023 Woodhull Modified Track Champion, Ajay Potrzebowski Jr. will be back to defend his title but, the Horseheads, NY speedster will have his work cut out as a host of others will be looking to dethrone Potrzebowski Jr. who picked up his first ever Woodhull Title track title after a torrid season long battle with 2022 Champ, Joe Dgien.
Also, seeing action it will be as complete show of the Hometown Excavation 602 Crate Sportsman, the Empire Crushing LLC RUSH Crate Late Models as well as the Southern Tier Customs Street Stocks.
In addition, the Sawyers Camping and RV Service and Repair Center Hobby Stocks as well as the Wicked Tee’s sponsored Mini, FWD and Warrior Classes will be on the card.
Gates for the April 27, 2024, event open at 4:30 with hot laps at 5:30 and green flag racing at 6:30 pm sharp.
