Story By: KENNY SHUPP / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – The final month of action at the Woodhull Raceway for this season will get underway on Saturday, September, 2, 2023 as Rent A Tent of Mansfield, Pa will present a Regular Great 8 Show which will feature all the track’s weekly divisions of competition.
The Insinger Performance Modifieds will headline the show along with the NAPA Crate Sportsman, Doug Gross Construction RUSH Crate Late Models, the Southern Tier Customs Street Stocks as along with the KMD Excavating Hobby Stocks.
Rounding out the card it will be a trio of Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s sponsored classes including the Mini Stocks, Front Wheel Drives and Youth Warrior Divisions.
And if that is not enough bang for your buck, the Wicked Tee’s Mini and FWD will have their King of the Bull Ring single elimination one on one event to see who will have the bragging rights in each division.
Wrapping up the program will be the Vintage Cars offering fans the sights and sounds as a throwback to days gone by.
Rent A Tent, the Official Tent Supplier of the Woodhull Raceway will be at the track to sponsor the night of action.
Each year, the Woodhull Raceway hosts their Annual Awards Ceremony right at the track with this year’s event set for Saturday afternoon, September 30, 2023.
Rent A Tent will once again provide the massive tent with skirting along with tables and chairs for the banquet.
“We have unique banquet in that we do it very early in Fall season. We prefer to have it right at the track where there is plenty of parking, restrooms and a place to set up a buffet. Rent A Tent has been awesome in supplying these beautiful tests each year for our banquet and we can always depend on them for impeccable service.” That according to Woodhull Raceway owners, Terry and Niki Brewer.
Representatives of Rent a Tent will be at the track to enjoy the night of action and present each feature winner with their hardware.

The September, 2 event at Woodhull will be the last point night prior to the season point ending show on September 9 with drivers in each class jockeying for position to have a shot at their respective class championships with intense battles in every division with only a few drivers already locked into their class titles including Wes Houghtling in the FWD along with Warrior competitor, Russ Morseman IV who will receive his first ever Woodhull Raceway Track Championship.
Pit gates for the Sept. 2, 2023 event open at 3:30 with grandstand seating an hour later at 4:30 pm.
