Woodhull Raceway Announces 2024 Weekly Class Sponsors

Story By: KENNY SHUPP / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – The Woodhull Raceway is pleased to announce the class sponsors for the 2024 race season at the popular Steuben County, New York speed plant.

Insinger Performance will return to sponsor the headline Modified Division where several drivers have tossed their hat into the ring to potentially upend 2023 class champion, Ajay Potrzebowski Jr. Insinger of Dushore, Pa is the Official Race Fuel Supplier of Woodhull and company owner, Bruce Insinger is pleased to be back sponsoring the Might Modified Division at Woodhull in 2024.

Southern Tier Customs of Woodhull will also be back in “24” to sponsor the Street Stock Division and company owner, Terry Pierce and partner, Becky Stewart, have big plans for the class in the new year.

“We are currently focused on the season ending Woodhull 100 lap spectacular. We plan on aggressively pursuing additional money from our marketing partners to assure the drivers in the 100 lap grind a huge pay day”, stated Pierce in a recent interview.

Last season, Teddy Morseman Jr. nailed his first ever Street Stock Track Championship by just one scant point over Mick Seeley, however Seeley will be back in 2024 looking to win his first ever title in his long and dedicated career at Woodhull.

Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s owner, Chris Daugherty of Pine Valley, New York will return to sponsor a pair of classes as he is pleased to attach his company’s name to the Front and Rear Wheel Driven Mini Stocks (Quad C) along with the Youth Warrior Division.

“We have been sponsoring the 4-cylinder classes at Woodhull for several seasons, stated Daugherty. The men and women that compete in these smaller support divisions work just as hard as any teams in racing. Many successful competitors have gone onto enormous success coming thru the ranks including the Mini Stock and Warrior’s, so it is a pleasure to once again being involved with sponsorship of the classes.”

A trio of fresh marketing partners will join as class sponsors at Woodhull in 2024.

Sawyer RV and Camper Repair and Service of Lindley will join forces with the highly popular Hobby Stock’s for the upcoming season. Company owner, Josh Sawyer, is quite partial to the Hobby Stock Division and the super competitive competition the class has to offer every race night.

“This is the toughest class that Woodhull has to offer. The competition is fierce every night with several different feature winners throughout the season. The side- by- side racing keeps the fans on their feet, and I am pleased to attach my company’s name to Hobby Stock Division in 2024,” claimed Sawyer who is a former racer himself.

Hometown Excavation of Addison has logged on as the newest sponsor of the 602 Crate Sportsman Division. Company owner, Brett Tuscany is a huge fan of racing at Woodhull having previously sponsored nights of competition over the past several seasons. In 2024 Hometown Excavation will take it a step further by sponsoring the Crate Sportsman Division where Kenny Peoples Jr. will be back to defend his 2023 Track Title, however the second-generation Addison, NY pilot need not look very hard over his shoulder as a slew of drivers will be right there to challenge.

Empire Crushing LLC of Painted Post, NY will market the RUSH Crate Late Model Division in 2024. Company owner, Jason Knowles is one of the top competitors in the class and looks forward to sponsoring and racing in the RUSH Nationally Sanctioned Series. Knowles along with his brother, Brian have been two of the dominating forces in the division with each racking up feature wins and titles, but last season, Austin Allen was able to ride a wave of consistency including a pair of trips to victory lane in claiming his first ever championship on the tough high banks of the Woodhull Raceway.

The Empire Crushing RUSH Crate Late Model Division at Woodhull continues to grow each season in numbers with many transplants coming from other divisions as well as raw rookies jumping into the game.

All seven weekly class sponsors have Facebook accounts where a wealth of information can be obtained including contact numbers, email, and websites where available.

According to Woodhull Raceway owners, Terry and Niki Brewer, “We are extremely pleased to introduce all our 2024 Class Sponsors. Insinger, Southern Tier Customs and Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s are all returning, and we have had a great working relationship with all of them since we purchased the track four years ago. As we enter our fifth year, we are elated to welcome three new partners in Empire Crushing LLC, Sawyer’s RV and Camper Service and Repair along with Hometown Excavation.”

All seven weekly division sponsors will receive plenty of media exposure with their respective company names appearing in pre-event press releases, full race stories and results as well as numerous mentions each race night on the tracks public address system.
