Rain Gets Ransomville’s Opening Night

Story By: STEVEN PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – A 6pm rain shower and with the more rain forecasted throughout Friday night forced Ransomville Speedway management to pull the plug on the opening night racing program.

Drivers and crews are asked to keep the wristbands for next Friday night, Friday May 10.

Next Friday night will be the Sean Letts Memorial for the Stirling Lubricants DIRTCar Sportsman plus a full card of racing. Fans can bring in a non-perishable food donation for the local food bank for a coupon good for $1 off the famous Ransomville French Fries at the main concession stand.

Pit gates will open at 5pm, grandstands open at 6pm, and racing will get underway at 7:15pm.
