Conley Motorsports Ready for Iron-Man Memorial Day Weekend Tripleheader

Story By: RYAN DELPH / CONLEY MOTORSPORTS – WHEELERSBURG, OH – A single event was on the racing calendar for Rod Conley and his #71R team last weekend, as they ventured to Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana on Saturday evening, May 18. The Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series (NALMS) presided over the rare Super Late Model special at Lawrenceburg and a $5,000 first place prize was up for grabs.

Rod started off his night by laying down the nineteenth quickest lap overall during qualifying prior to finishing fourth in his loaded heat race. The Wheelersburg, Ohio standout then steered his Rocket Chassis past four competitors during the 35-lap main event to place sixth at the checkers behind only race winner Tyler Erb, Devin Gilpin, Kody Evans, David Webb, and Seth Daniels. A trio of $5,000 winner’s checks will be on the line later tonight at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Saturday at Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, Ohio, and on Sunday at Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Kentucky.
