Reinhardt’s Memorial Day Weekend Brings Another Top-10 At Williams Grove, Mixed Results With High Limit

Story By: A2DPR / KYLE REINHARDT RACING – BECHTELSVILLE, PA – The season has been a bit of a roller-coaster thus far for Kyle Reinhardt. He and his Capitol Renegade team have been working hard to get back to the consistent results they achieved in 2023.

The Memorial Day weekend provided multiple opportunities for the team to find their groove.

ANOTHER TOP TEN

The John Trone Tribute race at Williams Grove Speedway was the weekend kickoff for Reinhardt in the Capitol Custom Coaches & Trailers, Capitol Renegade, Coors Banquet Beer, E-Z-GO Golf Cars, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.91.

Reinhardt’s qualifying lap scored him 6th in the Group B qualifying results and put him on the outside of the front row for his heat race. He brought home a runner-up finish behind Danny Dietrich in that 8-lap qualifying race.

In the night’s 25-lap finale, Reinhardt took the green from outside row six. He jumped into the top ten on the opening circuit, then continued to push forward.

At the checkers, Reinhardt crossed the line 8th, logging his second consecutive top-ten finish at the legendary oval.
MIXED BAG

Saturday night Port Royal Speedway, and every other track in the region, succumbed to the rain. The weather condensed the High Limit Series’ sanctioned Bob Weikert Memorial to a one-night event boasting $75,000 to the winner.

Sunday brought beautiful weather for the finale at ‘The Speed Palace’. Reinhardt timed 35th in the field of 53, then turned in a 3rd-place run in his heat. His points total after qualifying landed him in the B-main, where he finished 13th.

Aiming to regroup on Tuesday night with 42 teams on hand at Grandview Speedway’s High Limit Racing event, Reinhardt registered a solid time trial lap that ranked him 8th quickest in Group B.

A 5th place finish in his heat race put Reinhardt 20th on the grid for the A-main, which he converted into a 17th place finish.

“Port has been a struggle for me for the last few years but I am making progress on my car everywhere else and definitely getting a more consistent feel.”, Reinhardt commented on his up-and-down weekend.

Reinhardt will take the upcoming weekend off. He will return to action June 8th at Lincoln Speedway for the Elijah Hawkins Memorial.
