Dietrich Back On Top At The Grove; Charges With All Stars At Selinsgrove; Another Triple Ahead

Story By: TLER ALTMEYER / DANNY DIETRICH RACING – GETTYSBURG, PA – In all, a massive weekend in the Keystone State for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, not only securing their fifth win of the season with an epic two-to-go move at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, August 18, but backing up their triumph with four additional top-ten appearances including a Hard Charging performance against the All Star Circuit of Champions at Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday, August 20.

“Double-D” finished third in his All Star outcome, advancing ten spots from 13th on the $10,000-to-win starting grid.

Just before his Selinsgrove hard charge, Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, #1 Cochran Expressway, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Self Made Racing, No. 48 sprint car, earned a pair of top-tens at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, August 19, finishing eighth in the Greg Hodnett Classic 25-lapper before finishing second in the Living Legends Dream Race 25-lapper immediately following. Each main event awarded a cool $10,000-to-win.

Dietrich earned his first top-ten of the weekend in Williams Grove’s August 4 make-up feature; he was tenth.

“Overall, a great weekend for Gary Kauffman Racing. It’s never easy having to race that much, even that close to home, but I have a great team and I’m proud to have them,” Dietrich explained. “There’s still a lot on the schedule. We’re working for more wins…that’s all we want to do.”

Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with another round of competition in the Keystone State, set to visit Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, and BAPS Motor Speedway on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, August 25-27.
