Brockville Ontario Speedway Next Up For Dawdy Racing & Bobby Herrington

Story By: TIM BALTZ / DAWDY RACING – BROCKVILLE, ONT – The last three seasons Bobby Herrington has kept the Kim and Dan Dawdy owned number 88Z at the top of the DIRTCar Sportsman points standings at the Brockville Ontario Speedway and this week is no different.

Coming into this weekend’s action, Bobby holds a slim 9-point advantage over Lafargeville New York’s Gavin Eisele and 26 ahead of third place Dylan Kirkland.

Last week Bobby showed speed throughout the 25-lap contest as he charged from nearly a straight away behind in the third spot, to challenge race leaders Shane Stearns and Gavin Eisele for the top spot.

Off turn 4 headed for the checkered flag Bobby went to the high side of the track but clipped the right rear of Eisele’s car, eventually hitting the outside wall. Bobby nursed the car home still with a solid 4th place finish but the car suffered heavy damage.

The team has been hard at work on the car throughout the week getting it back to 100 percent and will be set and ready to find victory lane, where they have been once this season.

Car owners Kim and Dan Dawdy thank everyone for their support from the returning sponsors and new partners such as DIG Race Shocks and Dirt Outlaw Apparel. They would also like to thank the race fans and look forward to seeing everyone this coming weekend.
