Extreme Heat Postpones DIRTcar 358 Modified Series Highbank Holdup at Fulton

Story By: MIKE WARREN / DIRTCAR – FULTON, NY – With the safety of drivers, fans, and officials in mind, DIRTcar Northeast and Fulton Speedway officials have agreed to postpone Wednesday’s DIRTcar 358 Modified Series Highbank Holdup with weather models forecasting a heat index of over 100 degrees.

DIRTcar Northeast and Fulton Speedway officials are working on a suitable date to reschedule the event.

The DIRTcar 358 Modified Series continues its 2024 season on Wednesday, July 3, with a visit to Can-Am Speedway in LaFargeville, NY, along with the DIRTcar Sportsman North and Central regions.

Lance Willix leads the standings after winning the season opener at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park. To win for a second time, the Theresa, NY driver must contend with Can-Am regulars Tim Fuller and Billy Dunn, along with a stout field of 358 Modified competitors aiming for a win.
