After kicking off the season 29-cars-strong with the ACT Tri-State Series invasion, the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown is currently in the hands of Brandon Gray. The East Thetford, Vermonter has held the keys to the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tiger division since day one this season in a strong title defense that has seen him win all events so far in 2024. Looking to dethrone the king is Shane Sicard, the former three-time track champion, along with young-gun Luke Peters as he continues to search for his first career win in the division. Expected invaders include defending Thunder Road triple crown champion Logan Powers, Kyle Streeter, Brendan Moodie, Cam Gadue and more!
Quinny Welch leads the Foley Oil & Propane Late Model point standings bidding for his tenth King of the Mountain track championship while Patrick Switser has a hold on the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini leaderboard. The Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division is also back in action with competition proving to be the division’s best in recent years!
Waterford, Vermont’s Andy Hill has the Wayne’s Market Dwarf Car competition beat in twin segment competition this season, twenty points ahead of dominating 2023 track champion Jason Wyman and young hot-shoe Ethan Tyrrell. Last time out the Dwarf Cars gained three new competitors, only adding to the Monza-style thrills of segment racing for the mini open wheeled rockets.
Speaking of mini, the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models return to White Mountain for this action-packed holiday weekend. Berlin’s Matt LeBlanc has a thin lead on Kevin Boucher and the two 2024 winners, former champion Nick Anderson and leading rookie Chris Moulton. Moulton is coming off the biggest cash grab of his career after taking the $1,000-to-win special back in June as his first career Mini Late Model victory and looks to double-up on Saturday!
