Story By: JEFFREY AHLUM / GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY – BECHTELSVILLE, PA – The T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds will be in the spotlight this Saturday night at Grandview Speedway, when they will be running not one but TWO 30-lap feature races in one exciting evening of action.
Grandview Speedway will be presenting a NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program on Saturday featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman starting at 7:30 pm.
The show on Saturday, July 20, sponsored by T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment of Limerick, Pa. will include qualifying events for both classes leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, plus the remainder of the T.P. Trailer Modified portion of the June 29th race program that was cut short by rain, which includes the remaining laps of qualifying heat number four, two consolations and a 30-lap feature event.
The portion of the program held over from June 29th will be the first events run on the program Saturday evening, before moving into a complete new two-division race program, so fans should plan accordingly not to miss any of the great action on the high-banked one-third-of-a-mile speedway.
Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.
Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

This past Saturday night Cody Manmiller, who just moved into weekly T.P. Trailer Modified competition at the beginning of June, picked up his first career feature win in Modified action in an exciting feature over Ryan Grim and Brett Kressley.
Jeff Strunk had to charge from deep in the starting lineup once again to score a hard fought seventh place feature run, and maintains the number one position in the T.P. Trailer Modified point standings over Craig Von Dohren who also had to charge from a deep in the field starting spot to score an eighth place feature effort and remains second in the standings.
Mike Gular was in the hunt for the feature win and scored a fourth place feature run to sit third in the point standings, followed by Jared Umbenhauer who scored a sixth place feature run last week and ranks fourth in points, followed by Eddie Strada who charged from the back of the pack also to score a ninth place run and currently sits fifth in the point standings.

Jesse Landis scored the big feature win last Saturday in the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman Firecracker 40 taking home over $3300 in the process, it was Landis’ second ever Grandview Speedway victory.
Logan Watt continues as the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman point leader, but his advantage was trimmed considerably after Watt was involved in an early feature wreck and was a drop out, while second place point man Addison Meitzler scored a strong fourth place feature run after starting deep in the starting lineup.
Mike Schneck Jr. holds down third in points after a seventh place feature run after he had to start from the back of the starting lineup, while Dylan Swinehart sits fourth in points after he also started deep in the starting lineup and finished eighth. Sitting fifth in the point standings is Jesse Hirthler, who authored one of his best runs of the year to score a fifth place effort on Saturday night.

The month of July will conclude with a triple header race program on July 27, as the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars will join the program with the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman starting at 7:30 pm.
With the 54th annual Firecracker 40 into the record books, it is not too early to start thinking about the upcoming 54th annual 50-lap Forrest Rogers Memorial for the T.P. Trailer Modifieds on Saturday, August 10.
