Story By: STEVEN PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – Mother Nature claimed the August 16th racing program at the Ransomville Speedway. Showers occurred in the middle of qualifying heat races and management made the decision to pull the plug on the program.
Qualifying heats were run for the Southern Ontario Sprints, won by Liam Martin and Josh Hansen. Heats were also run for the KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks (Phil Schepis, Brandon Sherwood), the Niagara Region Vintage Cars (Tim Natolino, and Rob Pietz), and the first qualifying heat for the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks (Jeffrey Wynes).
