Schedule Adjustments at Ransomville Speedway

Story By: STEVEN PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – With the August 16 rainout, Ransomville Speedway management has adjusted the schedule for the remaining races of the 2024 racing season.

Scheduling issues will prevent the Southern Ontario Sprints for being rescheduled for 2024. Speedway management is still working alongside the Niagara Regional Vintage Racing Series about a possible reschedule date. Once that date is finalized, it will be announced. The KiPo Chevrolet Street Stock championship race will now take place on Friday, August 30.

The stars will be aligned this coming Tuesday night, August 20, as the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds are in town for the Ron Martin Memorial Summer Nationals. The Sportsman Super DIRTcar Series will also be in action for the Mike Bonesky Memorial.

Saturday, August 24th will be the fan-favorite Versus Monster Trucks. Fans can visit the Versus Monster Trucks social media pages for more information, and to purchase tickets to avoid the lines at the Ransomville Speedway ticket office the day of the show.

Friday, August 30 will not only be season championship night for all classes, it will also include the second DNA Towing Demolition Derby. It is also team spirit night and fans are invited to decorate their section of the grandstands to support their favorite drivers.

September 6th will be the John Susice Memorial for the Street Stocks, which will be an Empire Street Stock Series event. That evening will also feature a Big Block/Small Block Shootout for the Modifieds, plus Sportsman, and Novice Sportsman. September 6th will also be SPCA Serving Niagara County benefit night.

General Admission ticket holders can use their August 16th tickets towards the purchase of a ticket for Tuesday, August 20th. Or ticket holders can use their August 16th tickets for an even exchange on Friday, August 30. Paid pit passes can be used at any remaining stock car racing event. If none of these options work, please email the speedway office at raceransomville@gmail.com to make other arrangements.

Ransomville Speedway is back in action on Tuesday, August 20 for the 39th Ron Martin Memorial Summer Nationals featuring the Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series and the 4th annual Mike Bonesky Memorial for the Sportsman Super DIRTcar Series. Pit gates will open at 4pm, grandstands open at 5pm, and racing will get underway at 7:15pm.
