Story By: KENNY SHUPP / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – With the exception of the Empire Crushing LLC RUSH Crate Late Models which has already been clinched by Brett Marlatt, all of the remainder of the 2024 Woodhull Raceway weekly classes are up for grabs and it will all come down to the Season Point Championship Night on Saturday, 7, 2024.
By virtue of five feature wins thus far during the year, Marlatt has already accumulated enough points to win his first ever Empire Crushing LLC RUSH CLM Track Title.
Marlatt, like his father Richie before him, has dedicated most of his career to the Woodhull Raceway where he won a pair of Street Stock Track Titles in 2013 and 2014 to go along with a Woodhull 100 Victory.
Marlatt has a RUSH CLM Rookie of the Year Award to his credit prior to reaching this year’s pinnacle of winning the class title.
However, the rest of the classes are still yet to be decided including the Insinger Performance Modifieds, Hometown Excavation Crate Sportsman, Southern Tier Customs Street Stocks, Sawyer’s RV and Camper Service and Repair along with the Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s Quad C Mini Stocks and Youth Warriors.
Woodhull previously ran a Double Point Show earlier in the season so it will be regular points for the remaining two weeks which rewards thirty markers to each feature winner.
Kenny Peoples Jr. maintains a comfortable point margin in the Crate Sportsman Division and just needs a good finish on Sept. 7, 2024, to back up last season’s championship for the second gen Addison, NY speedster.

Woodhull Raceway offers a price discount the first hour the main gates swing open knocking a dollar off the Adult General Admission ticket price.
