FloRacing Night in America at I-75 Raceway Postponed; Brownsburg Up Next Sept. 25th

Story By: BEN SHELTON / FLORACING NIGHT IN AMERICA – NIOTA, TN – With uncertainty in the current forecast due to the approaching remnants of Hurricane Francine, officials with Castrol® FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota and I-75 Raceway have made the decision to postpone the series race scheduled for Thursday, September 12.

Possible reschedule dates are being evaluated for the FK Rod Ends Tarheel 53 presented by the Jacky Jones Automotive Group with potential details to be announced soon.

“Ray (Cook) and I have been watching the forecast for over a week now, and at times it improves and at other times it gets worse, but with us 24 hours out from the event we wanted to make a final decision. Taking into account the uncertainty of the weather as well as the likely cancellation of other events in the area this weekend, we didn’t want to force racers and fans to tow to the event to possibly only get rained out and then have to drive back home through the storm,” said Castrol® FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota General Manager, Ben Shelton. “Ray and I are currently looking for possible reschedule dates and are hopeful to find something. Mother Nature has made this a trying year for our miniseries, and we can’t thank all our fans, sponsors, and drivers for their awesome support.”

Castrol FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota returns to action on Wednesday, September 25 at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway with an event headlined by a $20,000-to-win / $1,000-to-start Super Late Model program.

Super Stocks will share the night’s spotlight in an event that serves as a lead in to the historic Jackson 100 weekend.
