Story By: STEVEN PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – Tickets are now available for the upcoming Ransomville Speedway Awards Banquet on Saturday, December 7 at the Lewiston #2 Fire Hall, 1705 Saunders Settlement Road.
Mat Williamson from St. Catharines, Ontario earned his fourth consecutive Krown Undercoating Modified track championship. Williamson became the first driver in the Modified division to earn four consecutive track titles. Cody McPherson from St. Catharines, Ontario earned his second Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman championship. It was McPherson’s first Ransomville title since 2015. Mike Welch from Stanley, NY won his first KiPo Chevrolet Street Stock points title. It was the veteran’s first full season racing weekly at the Big R. “Mr. Peanut” Ryan Plante from Ransomville, NY won his second straight Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stock title. Nigel Pendykoski from Chippawa, Ontario earned the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman title.
The champions will be honored along with many specialty award winners.
Tickets are $60 each and includes dinner, OPEN Bar, Awards Ceremony, and a music DJ provided by Worldwide Music Productions. Doors will open with cocktail hour at 5:30pm, with dinner being served at 6:30pm, and the awards ceremony will follow.
