Jason Metcalfe Caps Off Outlaw Midget Championship Campaign with ACC Crown At Peterborough

Story By: ASHLEY MCCUBBIN / OUTLAW MIDGET RACING CLUB – PETERBOROUGH, ONT – Starting up front, Jason Metcalfe put together a dominating performance en route to winning the Outlaw Midgets presented by Canadian Tire Innisfil feature at Peterborough Speedway’s Autumn Colours Classic.

It was the same song and dance that we have seen most of the season with Metcalfe putting the No. 29 out front to the early advantage and stretching it with set of laps on the board.

The battle for second through fifth became the highlight of the night with the foursome of division heavyweights going back and forth for the win. Ultimately, Mike Bradley got second ahead of Rob Harrison, Dave Inglis, and Dave Bradley.

Tyler King put together a season-best performance in sixth in front of Russ Couture, Kayla Semple, 20R, and Fred Homewood.

Kevin Spiesz experienced issues in turn one slowing him down en route to 11th, followed by Nick Spiesz, Cam Young, Jeremy Girrard, Brett Dorion, Hunter Kavanaugh. Mikey Homewood flipped on his side in turn one en route to 17th in front of Collin Grant, Rob McCall, and Derek Millman.

Two cars did not start the feature – James Costigan and Mark Grant – following an incident in turns three and four during the second round of qualifying.

Heat wins went to Dave Bradley, Jason Metcalfe (x2), and Mike Bradley.

The Outlaw Midgets are proud to be sponsored by Canadian Tire Innisfil and Falcon Fire & Services for the 2024 season.
