Chris Andrews Kicks Off ’23 With All Stars; Attica/Fremont Championship Series Double Ahead

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / CHRIS ANDREWS RACING – SANDUSKY, OH – Not the end result Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing were working toward, but nonetheless, the new year has finally commenced, kicking things off with the two-day Core & Main Spring Nationals at Attica Raceway Park featuring the All Star Circuit of Champions.

In all, it was a productive weekend for the Ohio Truck Sales/Fleet Capital No. 15c team, and although they were forced to settle with a pair of DNF outcomes, 24th and 25th, respectively, the Sandusky, Ohio-based program was able to find a silver lining, showing speed in each of their qualifying and heat race efforts.

“It’s going to take some time to get comfortable, but I’m confident we’ll get where we need to be soon,” Andrews stated. “We struggled a bit getting the car locked down in the slick with these new tires, but I’m sure over time we’ll figure them out. Can’t thank this team enough. It’s been a long haul to get to this point and I certainly wouldn’t be in this position without them.”

Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with an Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) pair in northwest Ohio, first visiting Attica Raceway Park on Friday, April 21, followed by a stop at Fremont Speedway on Saturday, April 22.
