Wilson Rallies Big In All Star Michigan Appearance; Attica Ambush Highlights Weekend Plan

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / GREG WILSON RACING – BENTON RIDGE, OH – Although capping the weekend on a relatively sour note, missing A-Main action at Butler Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 26, Benton Ridge, Ohio’s Greg Wilson made the night prior well worth the tow, ultimately highlighting his All Star Circuit of Champions appearance at Tri-City Motor Speedway in Auburn, Michigan, with a hard-charging performance, rallying big from 17th to finish sixth.

For Wilson, ace of the Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics Warehousing and Transportation, No. W20 sprint car, the top-ten outcome bumps his season total to 15, adding another top-tier Michigan result to a list that already includes a Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) main event win at Silver Bullet Speedway in Owendale, Michigan, on Saturday, August 12.

The All Star top-ten was Wilson’s second in the last two weekends, finishing eighth at Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon, New York, on Saturday, August 19.

“We wanted to end our All Star double on two positive notes, but we’ll take the bad with the good and move forward,” Greg Wilson stated. “Shout out to my girls for their endless support. They make all of our success possible and I couldn’t do what I do without them.”

Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with another All Star Circuit of Champions doubleheader, this time visiting Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, for the annual Attica Ambush on Friday and Saturday, September 1-2. The weekend will award $6,000-to-win and $12,000-to-win, respectively.

A visit to Wayne County Speedway on Sunday is a tentative weekend addition.
