Brown Nails Down Back-To-Back Top-Tens Against All Stars; 360 Knoxville Nationals On Deck

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRIAN BROWN RACING – GRAIN VALLEY, MO – Consistency is key for any open wheel competitor, and “Blackjack” Brian Brown certainly accomplished consistency during his recent weekend of competition, ultimately concluding his two-race sweep through Missouri and Iowa with back-to-back top-ten achievements, each of which occurring during All Star Circuit of Champions competition.

Brown, ace of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, HAWK Hunting, Ditzfeld Transfer, No. 21 sprint car, finished ninth and fifth in his All Star double, each of which accomplished after starting within the top-ten. Blackjack’s ninth-place finish at I-70 Motorsports Park in Odessa, Missouri, commenced from sixth on the grid, earning a spot in the evening’s All Star dash after finishing second during his respective heat race.

Brown’s top-five at Knoxville, a regular occurrence for the Higginsville, Missouri, native, commenced from row five, bumping ahead four spots to finish fifth after kicking off the program with a heat race victory.

“It’s always great to have the opportunity to join the All Stars, and it was a ‘home game’ for us Friday night at I-70 Motorsports Park. They’ve done such a tremendous job with that facility and it’s always a pleasure to compete in our own backyard,” Brian Brown stated. “We had speed all weekend, so the plan is to utilize that speed this weekend when we return to Knoxville for the 360 Nationals. All track time is important track time at Knoxville, so we’ll use the 360s as a way to propel our effort for the 410 Nationals next week.”
