Justin Whittall Puts Up Big Results In All Star Sprint Swing Through New Jersey & PA

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / JW MOTORSPORTS – VINCENTOWN, NJ – It was a productive holiday weekend for Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports, not only joining the All Star Circuit of Champions in their four-race slate through the heart of the Mid-Atlantic, but scoring big results in the process, two of which concluding with top-ten scores.

Whittall, who is still chasing his first victory of the 2023 season, earned his All Star top-ten achievements during starts at Bridgeport Motorsports Park in Swedesboro, New Jersey, on Thursday, May 25, just minutes from his Garden State headquarters, and Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, May 27. Impressive enough, Whittall’s top-ten at Bridgeport was the result of a Hard Charge through the field, ending his campaign ninth after starting 17th on the A-Main lineup. To do one better, Whittall’s top-ten at the Port Royal “Speed Palace,” occurring during night one of the two-day Bob Weikert Memorial, was the product of a hard-fought battle at the top of the running order, racing for a podium for much of the distance before fading slightly to eighth.

Other weekend highlights include finishing 11th in Williams Grove Speedway’s Doug Esh Tribute on Friday, May 26; he started 15th.

“It was a great weekend for our team. It’s never easy when a group like the All Stars or World of Outlaws come to Central Pennsylvania, but we were able to put together some solid performances and I’m proud of what we were able to achieve,” Whittall, driver of the JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, K Seal, No. 67 sprint car, explained. “Hats off to my team for never giving up. We’re hungry to earn that first win of the year. We’ve been in the hunt, just not quite there yet. It’s close.”

Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2023 campaign with another routine weekend in the Keystone State, set to visit Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 2, and Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, June 3.
