Chris Andrews Tackles The Big E At Eldora; AFCS Double Upcoming On Agenda

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / CHRIS ANDREWS RACING – SANDUSKY, OH – It was a tough outing in the Buckeye State for Sandusky’s Chris Andrews, but despite missing main event competition in Friday’s Ohio Sprint Speedweek visit to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing are already eager to move forward, setting aim on another Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) pair on Friday and Saturday, June 23-24.

“It was great to get back to Eldora. It was a perfect test session for the Million and Kings Royal next month,” Andrews, ace of his own Ohio Truck Sales/Fleet Capital No. 15C sprint car, said. “We’re slowly getting this program to where it needs to be. It hasn’t been an easy route for us, but we’ll get there. Looking forward to another AFCS pair this weekend.”

Andrews, a former two-time Attica Raceway Park track champion who has accomplished three top-ten finishes already in 2023, capped his visit to the World’s Greatest Dirt Track with a C-Main appearance, forced to compete in the six-lap consolation after being scored eighth in his respective heat race.

All three of Andrews’ top-tens have occurred at Fremont Speedway.

Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with another Attica/Fremont Championship Series doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, June 23-24. As the name suggests, action will take Andrews to Attica Raceway Park on Friday and Fremont Speedway on Saturday.
