Blackjack Brian Brown Reaches Goal in Huset’s Speedway’s High Bank Nationals

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRIAN BROWN RACING – GRAIN VALLEY, MO – “Blackjack” Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing battled the best in the business in Brandon, South Dakota, and after four nights of competition resulting in the largest payday in World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series history, the Grain Valley, Missouri-based open wheel team was pleased with their efforts, capping the groundbreaking event with an A-Main qualification and a preliminary top-ten along the way.

Brown, ace of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, HAWK Hunting, Ditzfeld Transfer, No. 21 sprint car, finished 18th in Saturday’s $250,000-to-win High Bank Nationals A-Main at Huset’s Speedway, utilizing a 7th-place finish in Friday’s $20,000-to-win preliminary A-Main to boost his week-long effort.

The Higginsville, Missouri, native finished second in Saturday’s qualifier to lock into the record breaking High Banks Nationals finale.

“Overall, we had a great time racing at Huset’s Speedway for the High Bank Nationals. I learned a lot as a driver and we met our goals as a team,” Brown stated. “Chad, Dad, JB, Lath, and Kahne were on point all weekend and I’m proud of their efforts. Qualifying for all four of Huset’s Speedway’s High Bank Nationals A-Mains, Brown kicked off action in South Dakota with a 19th-place score on Wednesday, and a 16th-place score on Thursday.
