Story By: STEVEN PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – The month of big money and surprises continued Thursday night at the Little R as Eric Veihdeffer picked up the win in the Mike Barry Motors Senior Heavy. Colby Boyer picked up the win in the Fisher’s Auto Repair Sr Lites. Jacob Schulz won the Frontier Auto Wrecking Jr 3 feature. Jenson Cook picked up the win in the SJE Shocks Jr 2, while Jax Cotriss picked up the Slack Kart Jr 1 feature. Jack Reid and Lucas Rodebaugh won the Candy Bar Races for the Just Signs & Designs Novice division.
Dates were announced for the makeup features for the Junior 3 division and Senior Heavy division following the rainout on June 22. The makeup Junior 3 feature will take place on August 3, and the Senior Heavy will run their makeup race on July 27.
The Little R Go-Kart Exhibition will be scheduled for Friday, August 11th, instead of July 28 due to scheduling conflicts.
Racing at the Little R continues Thursday, July 20, with a full card of racing, featuring the Sr Heavy big money special. Pit gates will open at 5pm and racing will get underway shortly after 7pm. Pit admission is $20 for drivers, $15 for everyone else. As always, the concession stand will be open, and Grandstand Admission is FREE.
