Ladouceur Continues Hot Streak With Action Sprint Tour East Win At Brockville Ontario Speedway

Story By: TIM BALTZ / ACTION SPRINT TOUR – BROCKVILLE, ONT – On a night where threatening skies forced Brockville Speedway officials to push through the show on Tackaberry Construction night, the fans were not disappointed with the racing action and there was plenty of it.

The 4th round of the Action Sprint Tour East Series by Surprenant Truck Shop and Lee Ladouceur was looking to continue his winning streak as he took the lead at the drop of the green flag, with Matt Billings, Mathieu Bardier, Andrew Hennessy and Brian Nanticoke completing the top 5.

Both Ladouceur and Billings were the dominant cars as they pulled away from the field, leaving everyone else behind. On lap 7 Adam Turner slipped off turns 3 and 4 bringing out the yellow, giving drivers like Matt Billings and a host of others, the chance to grab the top spot. When the green flew, nothing changed as Ladouceur still led the way with Billings making an effort to get the lead. Ladouceur had no part of it and pulled out to another commanding lead. Over the final laps Lee Ladouceur would drive away from everyone and keep the win streak alive, scoring his 5th win in a row at Brockville, his third straight East Series win and became the divisions all time win leader at Brockville, with his 6th trip to victory lane. Matt Billings crossed in 2nd with Andrew Hennessy, Mathieu Bardier and Evan Reynolds completing the top 5.

Next week the Action Sprint Tour National tour makes its first stop of 2023 at Brockville. With an East series event next Friday night at Can Am, a big field of cars is expected, with drivers from the west region coming to Brockville on Saturday night.
